Crusher is a cybernetic troll played by JP "itmeJP" McDaniel ,

Appearance

Crusher is 9-foot-tall troll with two cybernetic arms. He wears stained gray heavy armor and a name tag reading "Hi My Name Is Crusher". Underneath his armor, Crusher has multiple tattoos; the words "Live Free" in bold Old English font across his neck, and a terribly drawn portrait of his mother on his back.

Speech

When Mirrorshades begins, Crusher has lost most of his ability to speak. According to Crusher's Card, this is a consequence of an operation. Later, Crusher sees a doctor and regains his speech.

Personality

• At first Crusher is generally non-confrontational, but is prone to bursts of extreme violence when angered.

• When he regains his speech, Crusher develops a sarcastic streak.

• By September 2051, Crusher has cultivated an attitude of smug professionalism.

Family

Crusher was born to a human policeman father and a troll mage mother.

Vulnerabilities

Crusher's many cybernetic modifications have taken their toll on his essence, making him incredibly vulnerable to magical attacks. Crusher also suffers from a severe iron allergy.

Fear of Magic

Crusher fears magic. At least in part, this fear originates from Crusher's experiences with his mother, who was a troll magician, and from instructions Crusher received from Doctor Joey Buttafooco.

Relationship with Hadiya

Crusher expresses affection for Hadiyah al-Fulan on a number of occasions. Before she flies home, Hadiya gives b0nb0n a letter to deliver to Crusher, in which she urges Crusher to consider putting shadowrunning behind him and making a new life.

After Hadiya's departure for Quebec, Crusher avoids all communication with her until the eve of CODENAME: THE DATE, when Crusher phones her posing as "Slim", a "friend of Crusher".

By September 2051, Crusher is in a steady romantic relationship with Hadiyah, with whom he has adopted a son, Max.
