Kenji Takahashi is a major shareholder in Fujihara Technical Concern and a member of its board[1][2].
Involvement[]
The team is hired by Akiko Nakamoto[3] at The Chrome Rose in Seattle to force Kenji to return to Japan in disgrace by destroying his property[2].
In the course of surveiling Kenji, Nightsass begins to sympathize with him[4]. She learns that Kenji's enemies are seeking to oust him from Fujihara in part because his mixed racial background[5]. Eventually the shadowrunners reveal themselves to Kenji and offer to work for him. A deal is struck: Kenji will return to Japan, freeing Bomb Threat of any obligation to Akiko, after which point Bomb Threat will work for Kenji in Tokyo.[6]
In Tokyo, Kenji tasks the team with surveiling Akiko[7], but while they are doing this, Akiko is kidnapped by the Turbo Nightmare Erikizoku, and the team aquire The Hot Deck[8].
