The Hot Deck is a cyberdeck the team recover from Akiko Nakamoto's car after she is kidnapped by the Turbo Nightmare Erikizoku

Details

Although a label reading "Property of Shiawase Corporation; Do Not Remove From Lab" is stamped on the side of the deck, most of the deck's internal components are proprietary technology manufactured not by Shiawase but by its competitor, Fuchi.

Involvement

A few days after the team recover the deck, they are summoned to a meeting with Noboru Ando, who demands that they give him the deck. When the team do not immediately comply, a group of shadowrunners in Noboru's employ —The Saint, General X, and Tombstone— kidnap Breakdown to give Noboru leverage. b0nb0n, Crusher, and Nightsass are forced to trade the deck for Breakdown's life.
